OUR PURPOSE & GOALS PDF Print E-mail

Our Purpose:

Is to go out in evangelism locally and internationally in order to reach the lost with the truth of God's Word. We have been called and ordained to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ to all creatures so that precious lost souls might be saved for Christ. Our purpose is also to gather God's people in fellowship, grow together in discipleship, edify believers that they may contend for the faith, which was once delivered unto the saints (Jude3). By God's grace, we give ourselves fully in ministry and glorify God in worship and in our daily lives.

Our Goals:

Is to reach the unreached with the gospel of Christ. We want to be like Jesus by being transformed by the renewing of our mind to become more like Christ"(Romans 12:2). It is God’s plan for each of us that we "be conformed to the likeness of his Son” (Romans 8:29).

Even in this life, we "are being transformed into his likeness with ever-increasing glory"(2 Corinthians 3:18). Paul laboured with the Galatians "until Christ is formed in you" (Galatians 4:19). He told the Ephesians that our goal is "attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ" (Ephesians 4:13). In Christ, we have a new identity and a new purpose for living.

We are becoming like Jesus, who showed us what God is like when living in the flesh. We are not just hoping to be like Him in the next life, we are already to be like Him in this life. Obviously, we do not need to look like Him physically.

We do not try to match His carpentry skills, His language skills, and His knowledge of agriculture or Roman history. Rather, we are to be like Him "in true righteousness and holiness".  In our behaviour and in our devotion to God, we are to be like Jesus Christ. Our new self "is being renewed in knowledge in the image of its Creator" (Colossians 3:10). Both heart and mind are involved. Behaviour is, too.

These three work together in those who are being transformed by Christ. We must hear the word and be doer. (Matthew 7:24). We must believe in God and worship him in spirit and in truth (John 4:23). We need right beliefs, right actions, and right emotions. If the heart is right and our beliefs are right, then right behaviour will be the result. We want right behaviour through a process that takes several steps.

First, conversion through preaching the gospel and woe to us if we do not! Second through nurturing disciples by teaching them the things Jesus commanded. Third, nurturing the heart by teaching and equipping church members to do the things of God themselves, for one another in small groups which help make a church healthy. Jesus was committed to people. He loved the lost and he castigated people who thought they were religiously superior to others. He was committed to a close relationship among believers. His disciples related individually to him as students to their teacher and to one another. Jesus formed them into a group, a body that would in time give itself mutual support, a community that would reach out to others and invite them in.

Our other goal is to develop true community "so that the world may believe" (John 17:21). We would want to live out the gospel in the relationship to our members in order to attract non-members. Acts 1:14, 2: 1, 2:46- 47, 4:24, 4:32, 5:12. Jesus' purpose for us is to be "salt for everyone on earth" and "light for the whole world" (Matthew 5:13, 14).

Our Concept:

"Kingdom Life Ministries" means that when we are saved, we have a "New Life!". A person receives Zoe life as he responds to the gospel with repentance and faith. For sure, some people know they now have a ticket to heaven. But they don't realize that this new life should thoroughly change their lives in the here and now. Our Concept is to equip God's people with His Word inorder to recover thier lost dominion over the planet earth which is what the first man Adam lost after his fall in Genesis 3. Our concept will help God's people to live life to its fullest and about reconnecting to their true self. This simply means enjoying an abundant life on planet earth today.

This is Zoe/the God-kind of life which transforms us to be like God in true righteousness and holiness (Eph 4:22-24). Jesus said, "Just as the living Father sent Me and I live because of the Father, so the one who feeds on me will live because of Me (John 6:57). Jesus' foremost purpose in coming was to give zoe life to men, that is, to cause men to enter into and partake of the very life of God. "...I came that they might have life, and might have it abundantly" (John 10:10). "For this is the will of My Father, that everyone who beholds the Son and believes in Him, may have eternal life; and I myself will raise him up on the last day" (John 6:40 ). Again, "...Thou gavest Him authority over all mankind, that to all whom Thou hast given Him, He may give eternal life" (John 17:2).

Even before the ages of time began, God had promised to give zoe life to men: "...In the hope of eternal life, which God, who cannot lie, promised long ages ago "before the world began", but at the proper time manifested..." (Titus 1:2-3). Apostle Paul said, "The God who made the world and all things in it...He Himself gives to all life (Zoe) and breath and all things...for in Him we live and move and have our being" (Acts 17:25-28 ). Zoe also refers to an individual person's life while on earth (Luke 16:25, Philippians 1:20, James 4:14). We want to be like God in this very life being anxious of nothing as we reach Europe and the whole world with "the glorious gospel of the blessed God" (1 Timothy 1:11). People have always been and always will be saved and their lives transformed through the foolishness of preaching the Kingdom news.
